The race is on again… Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race
November 22, 2021Wooden Boat Folk – Minocqua
December 8, 2021The AWBF are excited to announce that the Maritime Trail will be back on the 9th and 10th April 2022, in the Huon Valley and Channel regions. TICKETS ON SALE NOW – CLICK HERE.
This Maritime Trail will feature the boatyards/sheds that you admired last time, including Wilson’s Boatyard, Cygnet Wooden Boats, Ned Trewartha’s Workshop, Dave’s Shed and more. As well as some fantastic new additions to the program; including short courses and workshops, with the boatyard operators. Designed to provide an opportunity to spend the day in the boatyard/shed, learn the ropes from some of the best in the business and create your own uniquely Tasmanian object. Objects will include wooden mallets, rope mats, toolboxes, as well as a photography course and a painting course! As we edge closer to the Maritime Trail 2022 event, we will provide the full program and details.
In addition, 2022’s Maritime Trail will feature boatyards/sheds and workshops in the Huon Valley and Channel regions, and we listened to our attendee’s feedback and have extended each tour duration (some said they wanted more time to explore, who can blame them really!). We have also given you more time to get between the boatyards as many attendees purchased more than one tour.
The AWBF are excited to bring these new offerings to you, and hope to again have this new program item at the AWBF2023.
Tickets will be on sale early next year, so stay tuned for more program information and ticket sale dates. We hope you are as excited as us!

The AWBF look forward to partnering with new and old partners for this event.
