Launceston Wooden Boat Rally

To Wooden Boaters wherever you may be!

Now entering its twelfth year, the Launceston Wooden Boat Rally is a not for profit event which promotes and encourages interest in wooden boats and boating in general.  Attracting a healthy fleet of exhibitors, it is a great opportunity for wooden boat enthusiasts, marine equipment buffs and collectors of all things maritime to gather, celebrate and share their passion for the sea and for wooden boats old and new.

We encourage exhibitors to bring their maritime display, enter their wooden boat(s) and participate in the sail past, moor in the marina or simply display a boat on the board walk and have the chance to win $3000.00 worth of prizes. Regardless of whether the wooden boat is pristine or derelict, power or sail, old or new, large or small or a work in progress we welcome participation at the Rally.

The Launceston Wooden Boat Rally 2018 is scheduled for Saturday  February 3^rd and Sunday  4th  and is held at the Tamar River Seaport, Launceston, Tasmania.
