Flinders Island – A Home to Sea Dogs and Sea Eagles
November 6, 2015AWBF Wins Tasmanian Tourism Award
November 11, 2015[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Application dates for the next MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival have been announced. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for Boats Afloat will open on Monday 18 April 2016. You will be able to complete your EOI electronically on the AWBF website here. You’ll need good quality photographs of your boat and the details of length, beam and draft. Entry is competitive and water berths are limited. All EOIs go to a selection panel. Boats Ashore can register without an EOI, but you will still need good photographs. Entries for Boats Ashore will open one week later, on Monday 25 April.
While the system is not ‘first in, best dressed’, it does pay to get your entry in early so that the selectors can review it and give you a prompt answer. Entries remain open until October 2016, for the event that runs 10-13 February 2017. If you have questions, you can always call the AWBF office on (03) 6223 3375.
