Spirit of Tasmania Australian Dinghy Display
City Hall
The largest indoor showcase of Australia’s classic Dinghy designs, under full rigging and sail. City Hall will host all makes and models of Australian designs and builds. Open 9am - 5pm Friday 10 Feb - Monday 13 Feb.

Four Foot Twos
IXL Atrium
Think back to the 1920's when a fleet of little boats were sailed weekly on the River Derwent. Chased by smaller dinghies and often the starting point for many budding yachtsmen. To be displayed in historic IXL Atrium at the Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hunter Street.

Model Boats
Waterside Pavilion
A very popular program featuring a range of Model Boats, of all shapes and sizes. Come and talk to the owners and builders, from cargo ships, sailboats, dinghies and more! One of the largest displays in one place, open daily from 10am - 5pm.

One Metre Yachts
City Hall
Modern successors to the Four Foot Twos, the radio controlled One Metre Yachts will be displayed in City Hall amongst an array of classic dinghies for comparison. A traditional style yacht, with strong links to Australia's historical racing industry.

Australian Surfboat Project, presented by Spirit of Tasmania
Outside Boat Builders of Australia Display
A restored classic surfboat on display at the entrance to Kings Pier. Inspired by whaling longboats and pilot boats, these little boats are unique to Australia.
