Four Foot Twos
Think back to the 1920's when a fleet of little boats were sailed weekly on the River Derwent. Chased by smaller dinghies and often the starting point for many budding yachtsmen. To be displayed in historic IXL Atrium at the Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hunter Street.
A very popular program featuring a range of Model Boats, of all shapes and sizes. Come and talk to the owners and builders, from cargo ships, sailboats, dinghies and more! One of the largest displays in one place, open daily from 10am - 5pm.
One Metre Yachts
Modern successors to the Four Foot Twos, the radio controlled One Metre Yachts will be displayed in City Hall amongst an array of classic dinghies for comparison. A traditional style yacht, with strong links to Australia's historical racing industry.
