Tour Cartela

UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we have been forced to cancel all tours of the Cartela at this weekend's Maritime Trail 2022. Please note, this only applies to tours of the Cartela, not any other tours or workshops during the Maritime Trail.
Apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause, however, the health and safety of our patrons and community comes first. All tickets will be refunded. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process. If you would like to be informed about possible Cartela tours in the future please email boxoffice@awbf.org.au to let us know.

The AWBF have been given exclusive access to the grand old lady of the Derwent, Cartela, and we are inviting the public to book a spot to explore the historic Tasmanian vessel. Built in 1912 (the same year as the Titanic, Cartela was used as a passenger ferry, transport for goods when the Tasman Bridge went down and for nearly all school formals, weddings, and birthdays over the last 110 years or so.
It could be said that every Tasmanian resident has a memory with the Cartela and we are delighted to be offering tours onboard during the Maritime Trail. The tour will include an interior tour of the vessel, story telling of her former days, an exterior tour of the vessel and future plans for the vessel. This opportunity should not be missed and tickets are limited.
