Living Boat Trust - Row, Sail, Relax

The Living Boat Trust is an organisation dedicated to keeping maritime heritage alive and maintaining traditional boat building, repairing, sailing and rowing. They are a vital part of their local community and has been run by a passionate bunch of volunteers since 1998. Join the Living Boat Trust for a great family weekend out, rowing, sailing and cruising on the Huon River. Grab a Grebe, St Ayles Skiff or a Whaleboat and paddle the banks of the river, off Franklin or sit back and relax on 104-year old wooden ferry Nancy. Take in the sights around a town nearly 200 years old, surrounded by mountains and rainforests. Adventure, tranquility, history and good old fashioned hospitality. Bring the kids along and get out on the water.
