Tour Ned Trewartha’s Shed

Drive down the beautiful windy roads of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to the seaside village of Peppermint Bay, and visit Ned. The man responsible for the beautiful clinker dinghies raffled off by Peregrine School each festival. You are welcomed into Ned Trewartha's house to experience the true craftsman of Tasmanian Timbers. From classic dinghies to Ukuleles, from side tables to souvenir birds. Come on a tour through Ned’s eclectic shed and learn how he became a wooden boat legend. You might even hear a tune or two from the man himself.
Ned's furniture and sculptures are one of a kind, and Ned is often involved in the annual "Art Farm Birches Bay" Exhibition. Ned's products are simply beautiful, and we encourage you to go meet the man himself.
