Arunta – a Fazackerley restoration
March 12, 2016Dutch Officials Visit Tasmania
March 12, 2016[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]OK, we win a few awards from time to time, but this one is a little special. At a recent ceremony at Government House, Australian Wooden Boat Festival photographer Sam Graudins won his medal for Outstanding Achievement in a Tasmanian Certificate of Education course (that’s Sam in the centre wearing a grey shirt and the medal around his neck. Proud Dad and well-known photographer Eric Graudins is on the right). Sam is a talented snapper with his own photography business and a valuable member of our amazing crew of volunteer photographers at the AWBF. Last time around, these camera-toting artists captured thousands of gorgeous images that we use for the next two years to publicise and promote the festival.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1466″ img_size=”600×400″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1467″ img_size=”600×400″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1468″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]There’s no doubt that Sam has ‘the eye’ for capturing the human element at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, and the technical smarts to nail those fleeting moments with his lens. Do we have many other talented photographers on the crew? Of course we do, but not all of them are 16 years old![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
