In partnership with The Old Woolstore and Variety Tasmania, AWBF is excited to introduce The Book Barge at the 2025 festival. This new addition to The Old Woolstore 'Little Sailors Village' will offer a peaceful space for children to explore sea-themed stories. Our aim is to spark a love for reading and maritime culture while supporting literacy and well-being initiatives for kids.
We invite the public to support this initiative by donating new or 'gently' used sea-themed children's books for the 2025 festival.
Want to find out more about the Little Sailors Village? The program will be coming in November 2024 but for a sneak-peak head to Little Sailors Village 2025.

- Variety Tasmania makes sure the kids who miss out can always join in.
