We are thrilled to announce that Norman R. Wright and Sons, renowned boat builders with an impressive 115-year history, will be joining us as a commercial exhibitor at Princes Wharf 1 for the 2025 Festival!
A standout example of their impeccable craftsmanship is the South Pacific II (formerly Beryl May), built in the early 1960s. This iconic vessel became beloved for her extensive cruising and charter life along the Queensland coast, completing an incredible 32 trips from Brisbane to Lizard Island, plus numerous other adventures.
Currently undergoing a comprehensive two-year refit and repowering at the Norman Wright facility, South Pacific II is set to return to the water in her classic style, ready to cruise for another 60 years.
