June 26, 2022Another tall ships joins the fleet heading south for AWBF 2023.
STV One And All is set to depart South Australia early next year to join a fleet of spectacular tall ships making the voyage to Tassie. Sail Training Vessel (STV) One And All was built by W.G. Porter & Son Pty Ltd at North Haven, South Australia with the assistance of a team of enthusiastic volunteers. Although based on the original rig of an 1850’s brigantine, is not a replica. The vessel is constructed of timber to the modern standards of the AMSA.
STV One And All, a timber-carvel build with a clipper stem and counter stern, was commissioned on 5 April 1987 and is owned by the South Australian Government.
As a Sail Training Vessel, One And All provides personal development opportunities for young people and school groups. Sailing can be a challenging and inspirational activity for students, and One And All offers a variety of voyages. From half day to multi day, the crew encourage students to explore new activities and meet fresh faces. If you’d like to see more about their latest sails, pop over to their Facebook Group – Friends of The One & All Sailing Ship.
STV One And All will be offering sailings to and from Hobart, as well as sailings during the Festival. So keep an eye out on our Tall Ships page here.
