Wooden Boat Folk II – Aziza

Come back to the AWBF 2023 with us, where we caught up with loyal custodian Val Nichols. Val shared with us her stories and tales of wooden boat life.

Not long after the AWBF 2023, Val commenced her 10 month long adventure sailing solo from Tasmania to Queensland and back! Mark Chew from Southern Woodenboat Sailing followed up with Val on her return, and wrote a wonderful recap of the journey. Read the full article here!

The AWBF crew had a lot of fun putting together this second series of Boat Folk films, with the help of Rachel Edwards, Green Sea Media and TasPorts. A big thank you to all the custodians involved, perhaps we can film a Boat Folk III series at the AWBF 2025!
