MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival named
in the 2015 Tasmanian Tourism Awards
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our favourite maritime festival has been named a finalist in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards 2015. In the category ‘Major Events & Festivals’, the AWBF is up against a handful of well-known Tasmanian events including the Fall Music & Arts Festival and the Queenstown Heritage & Arts Festival for the award. AWBF took a Silver Medal in the category for the 2013 event. Winners in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards go on to entry in the Australian Tourism Awards. In recent years, Tasmania has been a giant-killer in these national awards, carrying off 9 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Hall of Fame awards in 2014, more than any other state in Australia.
The winners will be announced at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Dinner at Wrest Point on November 6, 2015.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”984″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”986″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”994″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
