Iqualuktuuttiaq to Nuuk – a Bloody Long Way
November 21, 2017GM’s Log – December 2017
December 14, 2017Christmas Message
We are all excited by the growing plans for the next Australian Wooden Boat Festival, now just thirteen months away. The 2019 festival promises to be one of the most ambitious and enjoyable we have ever presented. We have a terrific program planned and we will be welcoming guests from all over the world. In the meantime, I hope that you are able to enjoy a break over the holidays with plenty of time out on the water. We are very lucky, compared to our friends in the Northern Hemisphere, because the Christmas holidays fall in the height of our glorious Tasmanian summer, giving all of us a chance to spend time with our family and friends, reflecting on the things that are important and remembering what Christmas is all about. Please enjoy the days off, smell the sea breeze, and relax!
I would like to extend my very best wishes for Christmas and the festive season, to each and every one of you. Have a wonderful time and above all, please keep safe!
Steve Knight
Chairman, Australian Wooden Boat Festival
