It’s safe to say that Steve was impressed with what he discovered on his first trip to Australia and his first experience of Tasmania. Steve is a very talented film maker and he made a lot of friends with his hands-on, down to earth volunteer talk ‘How To Make Boat Videos That Don’t Suck’ at the Maritime Marketplace. Steve walks the walk as well as talking the talk and he has produced a string of excellent videos on Tasmania including some of the boats and characters you’ll find floating around at the Wooden Boat Festival. His video of Chairman Steve Knight’s Gypsy graces the front page of our News Blog.
Off Center Harbor is like one of those bookshops you go into and emerge two hours later laden with twelve books you didn’t know you needed to own, but the good news is that you only pay for this one once. OCH is a subscription site, which means you pay a membership fee for access to a huge library of top quality videos, including interviews with well-know sailors, how-to videos on every aspect of boat building and maintenance, travelogues and more. It’s a great way to lose a few hours of your life, but you will come out of it knowing a lot more about something than you did when you went in.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]CHRISTMAS TWO-FOR-ONE at OffCenterHarbor.com
We’ve got a great deal on offer from Off Center Harbor, just in time for Christmas. You can guarantee that anyone with an interest in boats, sailing, maritime lore or, indeed, life – will want to see these videos. There are more than 400 of them in the library and more are added every week. It’s easy to have a look-see before you sign up – just go to their website here and they will generously provide you with a 10 video taster with no obligation.
If you like what you see, come back here and take advantage of a very generous offer Steve Stone has extended to friends of the Australian WoodenBoat Festival. First, the price is discounted to $US29 (that’s $40 Australian, near enough), but he has also thrown in a free membership which means you can give one away as a Christmas present and tuck the other one up your jumper for later inspection. Not a bad deal at all, for the price of a couple of boating magazines. To take advantage of this offer, you need to CLICK HERE to join OffCenterHarbor.com[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1180″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
